About this project

A homeowner in Kingsley booked us to take down and reinstall the double roller door on their garage.

A double roller door is heavy and under spring tension, so removing and refitting it safely needs the right equipment and two experienced technicians.

Our team released the tension and used door lifters to take the full curtain and drum down from the brackets in one piece, keeping the door rolled and supported throughout.

The door was then lifted back into position, refitted to the brackets and guides, re-tensioned and adjusted so it sat square in the opening and rolled up and down evenly.

Finally, the door was tested through several full open and close cycles to make sure it ran smoothly and locked properly. Using lifters and a two-person team keeps the job safe and protects both the door and the property.
