Roller Door Repair After Car Impact in Wembley Downs

Not long after we installed a new double roller door at a home in Wembley Downs, the homeowner got in touch: the door had accidentally been hit by a car.

With the door knocked out of position, we advised the homeowner to leave the car outside and keep the door closed where possible until our technician could get there, so the damage wouldn’t get any worse.

Our technician repaired the impact damage and realigned the door so the curtain sat square in its guides and rolled evenly onto the drum, then tested it with the opener through several full open and close cycles.

Accidents happen, and a door that has been hit doesn’t always need replacing. Getting it checked and realigned quickly stops the curtain, guides and opener from wearing unevenly, and keeps a new door running the way it should.
