Garage Door Spring Repair in Canning Vale

About this project

A homeowner in Canning Vale called us after the springs on their garage door came loose. The springs had pulled away from their latch and fixing screw, leaving the door without the support it needs to lift properly.

The door could still be pulled up by hand, but without the springs doing their job it was heavy to move and not safe to keep using that way.

Our technician reattached the springs, secured them back to their fixings, and checked the tension so the door was balanced again.

A full door service was carried out at the same time, so the rest of the door was checked and adjusted before our technician left.

Loose springs are worth fixing quickly. A door running without proper spring support puts extra strain on the hardware and can drop unexpectedly, so a simple reattachment now avoids a bigger repair later.
