About this project
A business owner in an Osborne Park industrial unit booked us to service the large roller door at the front of their workshop, which is used every day for access to the work and storage area.
Industrial roller doors are much larger and heavier than residential doors, and this one is operated by a manual chain drive. With the drum mounted high above the opening, our technician came prepared with a tall ladder to safely reach the drum, brackets and chain mechanism.
Our technician carried out a full industrial door service and the repairs needed to get the door running properly, checking and adjusting the spring tension, lubricating the moving parts, and checking the guides, brackets and chain operation. The door was then tested through several full open and close cycles.
Regular servicing is the best way to keep a heavily used industrial door reliable, so we left a service reminder on the door showing when the next full service is due.
For businesses, a door that won’t open means lost time. Keeping it maintained helps avoid unexpected breakdowns and costly emergency call-outs.
