Garage Door Motor Replacement in Banksia Grove

A homeowner in Banksia Grove called us after their sectional garage door became jammed and would no longer open or close with the opener.

On inspection, our technician found the existing Steel-Line opener had failed. The unit was opened up and checked, but it was no longer worth repairing, so the best fix was a new opener.

A new Jaytech 1200 V4+ sectional door opener was installed on the existing rail, connected to the power point and programmed with its open and close limits.

A full door service was carried out at the same time, checking the springs, cables, drums, rollers and tracks, lubricating the moving parts and testing the door with the new opener through several full open and close cycles.

When a door jams and the opener stops responding, it’s often the motor rather than the door itself. Replacing the opener and servicing the door in the same visit had it running smoothly and reliably again.
