New Sectional Garage Door in Ellenbrook

About this project

A homeowner in Ellenbrook was looking to replace their existing double sectional garage door, and had one key requirement: an extra 60 mm of clearance so their vehicle could fit through the opening more comfortably.

After reviewing photos of the garage, our team confirmed this could be achieved with a completely new door. Our technician then visited the property to take detailed measurements of the opening, jambs and pelmet area so the new door can be made to suit.

The new door will be a Centurion double sectional door in Colorbond Surfmist, finished with new Colorbond jambs on both sides and a new 200 mm pelmet. The door will be made to the opening size, and fitted with low-profile wind struts and a direct opener connection to help maximise headroom and achieve the extra clearance the homeowner needs.

With the measurements confirmed and the deposit paid, the door has been ordered and installation will be scheduled once it arrives.

A new door isn’t just about looks. Measuring carefully and choosing the right hardware means the finished install can solve practical problems too, like getting a taller vehicle in and out of the garage with ease.
