About this project

A homeowner in Spearwood contacted us about replacing damaged panels on their double sectional garage door. Two of the panels were creased and dented, and the customer was keen to replace them rather than the whole door.

Our technician visited to take final measurements and record the door’s specifications from the manufacturer’s label, so the correct replacement panels can be ordered to match the existing door.

While on site, a full door service was carried out and a new wind strut was fitted to reinforce the door and keep the sections rigid while it waits for the new panels.

The replacement panels are now being sourced from the manufacturer, and we’ll be in touch with the homeowner to schedule the installation once they arrive.

Replacing individual sections is often a cost-effective alternative to a full new door. Taking accurate measurements and checking the door’s details first makes sure the new panels are an exact match.
