A homeowner in Aubin Grove called us about their sectional garage door. On inspection, our technician found that the springs, lifting cables and cable drums had all worn out.

The old springs were heavily rusted along their full length. Springs carry the weight of a sectional door, so as they wear, the door gets heavier to lift, the opener has to work harder, and the risk of a spring breaking goes up.

Our technician fitted a new spring set and a new pair of lifting cables, and replaced the cable drums at no extra charge so the whole lifting system was renewed in one visit.

The job finished with a full door service, including our safety inspection checklist. The door was tensioned and tested with the existing opener to make sure it ran smoothly, and the repair is covered by our 90-day workmanship warranty.

Replacing the springs, cables and drums together means the parts will wear evenly from here, rather than a new part running alongside old ones that could fail next.
