Roller Door Motor Replacement in Warnbro

A homeowner in Warnbro called us after their roller door opener started playing up. The motor would run, but when activated the door would only travel down and then stop, instead of opening and closing normally.

Our technician inspected the door and the existing opener. With the motor no longer controlling the door properly, the best fix was to replace the unit rather than keep repairing it.

The old opener was removed and a new Superlift RDO-4 roller door opener was installed on the door’s drum wheel, connected to power and programmed with its open and close limits.

A full door service was carried out at the same time, checking the curtain, drum, brackets and guides, lubricating the moving parts and adjusting the door so it rolled evenly. The door was then tested through several full open and close cycles with the new opener.

When an opener runs but the door won’t travel properly, it’s a sign the motor or its controls are failing. A new Superlift opener and a full service had this roller door opening and closing smoothly again.
